I spent three hours at the salon today. A lot of women were talking about how horrible the men in their lives were behaving. Gambling, lying, cheating, buying corvettes...it was all so painfully awful.... It hurts. Why? Because it's true.
Onward! Gosh, I love Harry Potter! What a genius, that Rowling! All the intricate little pieces are coming together. I feel like I wanna go to Hogwarts.
I fell in hard, hot love with an Austin celebrity....Aaron B....Ghostland Observatory's lead singer. Yikes! Google them if you wanna get the picture. Better yet, YouTube. I can't explain it but I'll try...Me and my musical friend Ivy got VIP Austin City Limits tickets!!! We saw The Decemberists and GHOSTLAND OBSERVATORY, so up close and personal!!! The Decemberists were musically magical but G.O. gave us a visual smorgasbord I'll never forget. 2 guys, one in a long sky blue satin cape who did all the sound board stuff+drums, and one with two long black braids gracing his fair head and shoulders, wearing a turquoise native american looking shirt, white bell bottoms, brown cowboy boots---he's the singer/guitar player. Now I have a HUGE celebrity crush.
What else is going on??? I 'm teaching watercolor classes this summer. Very fun! Today me and two 8 yr old twins painted fairy portraits. Wonderful!
Tomorrow I start DAY 1 of a 2 day, 8am-4pm process of attending a serious AUTISM workshop. Next year I'll have a little boy in my class with autism and I need to arm myself with knowledge.
