"If it rhymes, It's right!" My brother Danny used to say that our Sitie, Arabic for grandma, used to say that. The truth is, Danny made that up. But this year IS going to be a winner! How do I know? Well, first of all, it's an even year, and those are always great. Also, I'm just due and that's all there is to it.
I spent the evening in lovely ways: I had a great meal at a middle eastern buffet with Pamela (dreamy), Ivy (gorgeous), Melanie (darling), Jeff (wonderful). We ate well and laughed much. Then my Aunt Sharon called me and told me about her friend, Judy Shapiro, whom was reported to have been caught dancing with an unseen entity in her kitchen. I'm very jealous, seriously. Why did all my supernatural dance partners split before puberty? Maybe I should summon them back.
Well, I did dance A LOT tonight. Okay, so I was alone at home, but still, it was amazing, okay?! Don't pity me. I really enjoy my own company. ;) My friends are on the way over to ring in the new year with me. I hope they get here before midnight. Gosh! I hope they bring sparkling cider! I'm fresh out. They went to a church dance. I didn't want to go for fear of seeing someone who would make my blood feel like it has needles in it. Still too much emotion there. Gosh! It hurts like a mother. Besides, I'm a little old now for dances, unless I host them and all my supernatural boyfriends come. Those guys! ;) Alright, I'll stop being silly and just say, HAPPY NEW YEAR! It's all US guys!!! 2010-WIN! WIN! WIN!

This will be the best year ever! Even better than 1987! That was actually my favorite year I think. I am pretty sure Sitie did say "if it rhymes it's right".
