Ms. Ferrell, I mean no criticism of your list of favorite things, but I wondered if it were not missing a few items. Please take the following into consideration if you ever extend your list.
Clean sheets, the circus being in town (don’t have to go, but there is always a possibility if it’s in town), whatever is at the location where the spotlights are lighting up the night (maybe it’s the circus), the first cold front after summer, movie theatre popcorn, the sound of moving water (waterfalls, waves on the beach, a running creek), the smell of bacon frying, a full moon, Al Green’s “lets stay together”, air conditioning, the next book in the series finally coming out in paperback (and the smell of it), popping balloons (or bubble wrap), being someone’s everything (my son tells me I am his “bestest buddy forever”. I know it won’t last, but it really is nice right now), hope, a concept that forces your brain to new places, fresh cut grass, good flan, unselfish acts of kindness,………..
